I believe in speaking your heart and clearing your mind without fear, as well as continuously pushing yourself to grow in all areas of life. Sprout Free is my attempt at doing that. This is a place of free thought and positivity in a sometimes dark world. I can't promise that these posts will have a prominent theme or that they will blend perfectly, but I do promise to only share experiences that I feel will benefit others in some way. Hi there, 

My name is Katherine Owens, but some people call me Kat. I am Memphis-born and bred and super proud of where I come from. My passions are various pieces of my life that I find important like camping and the outdoors, traveling, Memphis BBQ, and my incredible family - my husband + our dog and cat. I drink a lot of coffee and enjoy cupcakes more than most. I am introverted (my Myers Briggs is INTJ) and very comfortable with it. I love to connect, learn, and wander. Let's do it together.
